Don’t. It’s just a number. The idiots and cultists who assign more meaning to the number are like 2 steps away from numerology and numerical mysticism. This “too bad it’s a slang number” is like a superstition that empowers racists, letting them take over and cement their hate in otherwise meaningless numbers.
In Asia, 8s and 88s are considered lucky.
