It’s more like, “Oh, thank god. A masked man wielding a chainsaw to lighten the mood.”

This reminds me of how I saw pictures of people dressing up as Nazi’s as a costume for halloween, and it brought to mind the distinction between real-life evil, and the imaginary, scooby doo, mickey mouse kind, and how nobody sane actually embraces evil, it’s all just for fun. Even if things seem scary, at least we aren’t fully embracing evil instead of playing make-believe.
