    Ummm why is this getting downvoted? I thought the link between tylenol and autism was superfluous/conspiratorial, which is what the linked article suggests too. Am I missing something here? I’m genuinely curious.

    Edit: damn, apparently the link is not superfluous (here’s one meta-analysis I found from a quick search, I guess there should be more). I’d wager that it’s anything but conclusive, but it’s still interesting to see that the correlation is non-negligible. TIL

        I think there might be a subtle difference between “the correlation between a mother’s use of tylenol during pregnancy and development of autism in the child looks statistically non-negligible” and “a child can only get autism if the mother takes tylenol during pregnancy” (just in case I left it ambiguous: I’m not trying to support whatever the fuck US goverment is trying to twist this correlation into, all I’m saying is that there is evidence of correlation bwtween the two things, which, again, is far from a conclusive causal link).
