Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd. says it has identified a data breach involving personal information belonging to customers, which was stored in an e-commerce database.
Sure is, Home Hardware is the only other Canadian hardware store. Réno Dépôt is owned by RONA.
I love Home Hardware though, it seems like they let their franchisees do whatever they want, which gives each store a different vibe. If you’re ever in Westmount, Hogg Hardware is great, they even sell Lego.
What is with you people thinking that I’m supposed to somehow have a directory of every single supplier in Canada?
Go do the research, you need to understand that stores that supply goods, do not magically produce them from a product making machine… They are all delivered by local suppliers and manufacturers. Where you can also go and get those supplies… Figure it out bro.
None of them sell directly to consumers, I’m familiar with the process.
I tried to purchase some made in Quebec deck chairs that we couldn’t find sold anywhere, I called up the manufacturer and offered to pick it up from their factory, and they refused to sell to us, pointing us towards their suppliers (i.e. home hardware and RONA)
The same is true for lumber and construction supply manufacturers.
Rona is own by Murica

Those stores do not operate in Quebec, I’m in Montreal. My choices for lumber are very limited.
I guess we can go to Habitat for Humanity for recycled lumber. Otherwise, it’s large industrial suppliers or suppliers of very bespoke cuts of wood.

Then maybe stop pretending we all have choices but are just too lazy to use them
