      I haven’t had it since I was a child, but even then I remember it being sickeningly sweet. Like diabetes in pie form.

        Shoofly pie is a type of American pie made with molasses associated with Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine.

        We went to an Amish community festival a long time ago and that’s where I had my first bite. It was the most delicious thing I’ve ever had and it was unforgettable!

6. Verify in Comments Always check the comments for additional insights or corrections. Moderators rely on community expertise for accuracy.
