CBC/Radio-Canada’s digital platforms drew a total of over 89 million streams, more than triple compared to Beijing 2022 (29 million).

    Even though I mostly watched the main CBC feed, I really enjoy the Olympics being handled by the broadcast consortium.

    There was a small moment at the end of the hockey tournament where Elliotte Friedman turned to his fellow panelists and thanked them, acknowledging that they may never actually work together again, since they were a hodgepodge of Sportsnet people and TSN people, amongst others. Kind of a unique* thing.

    *okay, probably not unique, but somewhat unusual.

    J’étais quand-même déçu que plusieurs événements avait du commentaire en anglais sur CBC mais sur Radio-Canada, c’était le silence total. Genre oui je vois l’écran mais ils ont pas pu trouver de commentateurs pour plusieurs sports en français. Pas mal ordinaire.
