Renounce your US citizenship at the border while holding a Beaver and Canadian Goose, screaming “Oh Canada” at the top of your lungs until someone lets you in.
Nowadays everybody wants to talk like they got something to say but nothing comes out when they move their lips just a bunch of gibberish.
Renounce your US citizenship at the border while holding a Beaver and Canadian Goose, screaming “Oh Canada” at the top of your lungs until someone lets you in.
Wasting the Governments time to legislate pissing off a Billionaire Man Baby is not a productive use of time. Especially when the problem is American tech companies being balls deep in every level of the Canadian Government.
Doug Ford too. I’ll overlook that lately though as he’s at least lashing out at the US.
He is over compensating because a few months ago he was caught on a mic saying he was happy Trump won the last election, has supported Trump publicly before the tariffs, and is a greasy motherfucker who will say anything to maintain power. He has been billed numerous times as “Trump North”.
Of course he is attacking harder than anyone else. If he screams loud enough people will forget, and they did.
Doug Ford should have lost the last election he forced on Ontario but is somehow bullet proof no matter what he does or has done.
I guess we all better make sure to sign that petition to ban X! That will fix everything!
You should learn to read before you try to write.
I don’t disagree with you, but you’re arguing about switching to another US company when nobody is suggesting that.

I don’t know what defect you have but hopefully this 1,000+ entry list that isn’t 100% Twitter accounts, including official Police and Military pages, will help you get it.
It is not about Transferring from Twitter to another, it is about calling to transfer all accounts off of all American platforms instead of wasting time on one genius.
We need to solve the issue of mentally unstable citizens threatening and harassing our politicians, and we do not need to make this about sex or gender to do it.
Right. You avoid doing the research.
I haven’t avoided doing any research. I am not going to waste my time demonstrating to you why you are wrong.
If the system was broken journalists wouldn’t be able to access the information you say is impossible to obtain because the “system is broken” you absolute genius.
Tell me I’m wrong. Then tell me I’m a loser.
You are wrong, I never called you a loser, but I won’t disagree with your choice of words to describe yourself.
Well, when I throw the L back at you, it means “lazy troll”.
Projection at its best.
Go upstairs and cry to your mom about it.
Ah, I see. It’s not about understanding. You just want to debate.
No thanks.
This isn’t, and was never, a debate.
You are just wrong. Take the L and walk away.
Threats and harassment drive most people out of politics.
MP’s, MLA’s, City Council members, and every other politician that have stepped down recently have cited increased harassment and threats as a reason why they won’t run again, regardless of sex or gender.
We need to solve the issue of mentally unstable citizens threatening and harassing our politicians, and we do not need to make this about sex or gender to do it.
Did you even read the petition? It even gives the suggestion of using decentralized networks and community regulated platforms. What part of that makes you think they’re going to jump to posting on Facebook?
Did you even read my comment? It even gives a clear point that all American social media companies are guilty. What makes you think Facebook or Google wont work with the Trump administration to manipulate Canadian accounts when they support the US administrations policy and goals?
I suggest you don’t respond to me unless you have a coherent point to make.
Search “Canada access to information broken” to understand previous comments…
Search “Canada access to information” to find the portal to make a request to access information and find that it is functional. Which is the opposite of “broken”.
It doesn’t need to be perfect it needs to make sense, and it doesn’t make sense to work to ban one American social media company when they are all guilty.
Don’t use useless platitudes to make a point.
Why should anyone waste their time signing an e-petition that doesn’t include all American based social media when every one of those companies support Trump?
Don’t divide the problem up and push for real legislative change that impacts all social media if you don’t want to waste your time.
Donald Trump has threatened tariffs, dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
He thought it would help economics, dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
He threatened them against his allies, dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
His allies now have better allies, smart, smart, smart, smart, smart.
Is it? Because we seem to be highly dependent on investagative journalists for that sort of thing.
Who use access to information requests to get information for their investigations. Which you, as a citizen, can also make in order to obtain aforementioned information.
If you want the information go and get it instead of being highly dependent on others to tell you what the truth is.
I would argue that if you don’t like the system you should work to change the system and ensure that all Political advertisements must make available who paid for it. Which to my knowledge is already a thing in Canada.
People don’t have the right to have their voice be louder, they have the option because they have more money and that is what is valued in our society.
If you don’t like the system change it.
Don’t try to start arguments asking questions that don’t matter to someone simply pointing out a fact regarding universal rights for citizens.
This is good for unions and other above-board groups, but I can’t help but wonder how this affects the various “dark money” lobby groups that have unclear ownership, but have been buying political ads across the country.
As long as they are citizens it is their right to " meaningfully participate in the democratic process" whether you agree with them, like it, or not.
I know.
