Sso, advanced features, multi tenancy etc all locked behind commercial features.
Can you really find any open source project these days that you can just use in a company?

2·2 months agoThe skills sets just don’t necessarily overlap
Thing with steam is you have to build hype and wishlists long before you release. Like months and years.
Some people make the game and then start thinking about releasing it. Like you have to do that in pretty much the opposite order.
But that’s what the system is made for
I have a fair bit in approved mode. Like it can run mkdir, ls, git diff etc
But it’s so nice when it works.
Fucking ai agents and not knowing which directory to run commands in. Drives me bonkers. Constantly tries to git commit root or temp or whatever then starts debugging why that didn’t work lol
I wish they would just be containerised virtual environments for them to work in

That’s why you build the api first. If you need to “cut through” anything you build an api for that instead.
