I’d imagine lower power laptop? Though I’m using KDE on a laptop from 2012 and it works fine

This person had been taught the process multiple times before and simply refused to do it. It became relying on me to do the job for him in when my job is to help everyone on this large team with more advanced things then that.

“I should be able to ask my team for help” - The guy asking me to do his job for him after the umpteenth time of him refusing to learn a basic process.

Yeah, I mean that’s just how it goes with Windows/Mac(Ubuntu seems to be trying lol), they want you integrated into all their services.

For my part, I used aerotweaker on my win 11 machine to disable most of that junk.

I can absolutely see how that is annoying, but it’s not impossible to disable with a little tweaking.

It doesn’t break things like other overlays in my experience, but it also doesn’t provide anything I want.

Currently using Bazzite as my main OS on my laptop, and it works pretty good, the ostree setup has prevented me from manually installing several things though :/
