Realistic graphics with cartoon absurdity would still work, IMO. Though you’re gonna have to really lean into the Uncanny Valley to drive home the weirdness.
One of things mentioned is that the people wear towels when showering because pixelating looked too revealing still. Ok… Why not use big black censor bars or even emojis as is done in Saint’s Row’s reboot? It would cover things up better and be whimsical at the same time.

It can cross all those things… If you are sitting on the roof with an outboard motor or some paddles to actually make it move after the engine dies, while also adding enough boyancy to keep it afloat.

Sony has a habit of cutting off their nose to spite their face when it comes to cross-platform releases. They’re still closer to Nintendo in it, but for every step they have taken forward, then end up taking two steps back and then shooting themself in the foot making taking a step forward again harder.

One of the things I learned after they were actually made is that making a car look that way is, in fact, part of the design problem. It’s apparently harder to make everything flat and line up than it is to be curved. Not to mention the areodynamics suffer, which in turn lower the energy efficiency of the vehicle. Which is really why we don’t get interesting fractal designs like this more often.
I can see no way one could know about the cybertruck to buy it without also knowing how stupid Elon is. Even when they announced it, my first thought was “I like the look, but it’s a Tesla so fuck that noise.”
And yes, I do like how it looks. It’s different, and I like the low-poly shape. If it wasn’t also a huge piece of shit, made by a racist asshole I’d probably want one. Though I also thought it was half the size until I saw one in person.

I started KCD2 recently and at first I was like “So it’s Elder Scrolls but no fantasy stuff so… Will it be boring?” But then I started to see how it’s not like modern Elder Scrolls, but specifically Morrowind with how deep it is despite not having magic and shit, and I’m loving it.
Though I honestly wish I could just quicksave and not need an item to save anywhere without a bed. Being able to go “what happens if I…” Then saving the game so you can fuck around and find out is like the best part of a game, IMO.
I got as far as the turning point in the story and the game just started shitting itself, with every quest script breaking in every possible way it could. So I haven’t even seen one ending :/
True. Only one state produces coffee (Hawaii) and it’s not a helluva lot.
