  • I’m not Canadian so I don’t know how this is gonna land but here goes:

Ha, Canada thought they could avoid a “South” like the US by setting the province borders that way. Instead they got Alberta.

(If I was Canadian my comeback would be: Nah, Canada has a backwards ass “South”. It’s called the USA.)

  • The purchase was made before people set Cybertrucks on fire or took strong political stances. The edges of the vehicle are flat, and it allows for enough description and visual components to increase our branding.

The first CyberTruck delivery to Washington state was March 25, 2024. Assuming they put a deposit down in 2019 when it first opened up they had 5 years to see the way things were going.

I’m also curious what the math is on cost to space ratio of a CyberTruck versus something like an eSprinter van if they wanted a vehicle with space for “ enough description and visual components to increase [their] branding”.

  • This is the correct explanation right here. Minnesota born and raised and I always heard as steer into your skid but it’s the same principle. When the back end kicks out you steer into the direction the back end swung out to.

In my much younger years during the winter we stopped turning on corners in the neighborhoods and just e-braked around them to “practice” driving in a skid.

I don’t know, I’m only Canadian lite (Minnesotan) and was just answering the question. If I remember correctly he was a pretty big supporter of George Bush in the 00s so I’d assume he’s always a been pretty conservative and that’s likely only gone further right with age and more wealth.
