7·10 days agoI wonder what would happen if all normal nations pooled together and got like a super elite hitman to snipe out the orange turd. Like would americans be like “bad, bad, bad, don’t do it again! Okay?!” and then everything would settle down a bit.
Yeah, it’s wild people “don’t like OOP” 100%, it’s like most good things, don’t put it where it shouldn’t be.

1·16 days agoYes, that was a beast! I was poor and had to wait and got the generation after, the 3770K and already the segmentation was there, I got overlooking possibilities but not the VM stuff…

53·19 days agoThey really segmented that market in the worst possible way, 2 cores and 4 cores only, possibility to use vms or overclock, and so on. Add windoze eating up every +5%/year.
Remember buying the 2600(maybe X) and it was soo fast.

9·20 days agoFrom an EU perspective that sounds like isolationism, I mean the USA, China, Russia, … would basically be forced to trade more between them.
It could work if selective, but we’d need the rest of the world on our side first or it’d just backfire.
Born in sweden, but as I don’t like neither football, ice hockey nor the eurovision song contest, I had to leave.

Linux@lemmy.ml•What are some of your most useful or favorite terminal commands?
21·1 month agoI’ll go with a simple one here:
CTRL+SHIFT C/V for copy paste.
Or if it has to be terminal;
kill
😊

I have worked with MSVC a lot so that might tint my experience but I don’t get what’s so good with vs code. It kind of sucks in a classic windows way, many options for the same thing and often it just doesn’t work. Tried to set it up on linux with godot & c# (🥴) impossible to debug and autocomplete was like every library on earth, except godot ofc. What a pain in the butt.
