2 days agoOh, I meant overall, not specifically in Firefox, I’ve only used video players directly for HDR, not web players (idk where I’d even find HDR webplayer content tbh)

It works on Fedora 42 with KDE just out of the box with the GUI display setting for me, but I frequently need to rebalance the brightness with the wizard KDE provides for HDR brightness, it fucks up and gets very dark until I redo that every N times I turn the TV off and on again.
I do. It’s fine. Probably overpriced when I bought it, but you can find good deals now (and on the insanely priced base for it). It does definitely feel cheaper than a Pixel phone, but it works perfectly well.
If you can’t even spell defense it’s gonna be an uphill battle.
22·9 days agoDo you mean kicking that journalist off under pressure and revealing a log in IP? I honestly don’t expect my email provider to go to jail for me, it’s a pretty piss poor medium for private communication to begin with. I do, however expect it to work. Every clearnet service requires email, and losing access locks you out of your whole life nowadays. The argument I make to normies to get off gmail has moved from “They’re spying on you” to “AI hallucinations lead to bans of random accounts daily, can you afford to lose it?”
This is why I’d never buy an Italian digital service, or really any engineered product. Proton is Swiss and I’ve never heard a horror story like this about them.
Breaking up the banks won’t end sexism, so why bother?
