Because this would have been Canada, if Canadians hadn’t had such a strong reaction by way of boycotting all things USA and hiring a global banker to lead our country. Trump had every intention of annexing us but we made that difficult.
Mine is the 23rd. Arguably the worst day to have a birthday on because people are irritable, broke, impatient, stressed to the max. Traffic sucks as last minute shoppers buzz around in desperation. No holiday spirit, just pure rage and stress.
That’s why I celebrate my birthday on July 1st now. Canada Day for me, so I get fireworks, warmth and happiness.
So many options to keep it fresh.
