Firefox@lemmy.ml•Mozilla is working on a big Firefox redesign, here is what it looks likeEnglish
201·11 days agoRight. My sentiments exactly. Hopefully this won’t trickle its way into LibreWolf …

Firefox@lemmy.ml•Any way to get the old tab design back?English
2·17 days agoIs it still possible to switch back to the old one? I really don’t see why they feel the need to make this change.
EDIT: Just updated to Fennec 148, and it looks like my reversion to the old menu held. I’m assuming that they’ll nuke this option a release or two from now. They should keep both options.
As someone who messed with a lot of custom ROMs for Android in the past, I can definitely say that installing Graphene is a breeze by comparison. The one thing to note is that their web installer can’t use Firefox (at least the last time I checked), but other than that the experience has been solid. 👍

Open Source@lemmy.ml•SMS2Email: app that forwards SMS messages to SMTP Email server—has anyone tried this?English
10·2 months agoYeah, same here. I occasionally I need it to get OTP codes to log into banking sites and whatnot, and it’d be nice not to have to go hunting around for my phone if I don’t have it handy.

I think you can make the font bigger in the settings.

28·3 months agoDon’t mean to pour cold water on this, but wasn’t there some issue with FUTO that @cypherpunks@lemmy.ml warned us about? Might be thinking of the wrong thing, getting old here . . . 👴

The inability to video conference reliably [on LibreWolf]
Could someone elaborate on this? Also
I like my browsers to remember when I have zoomed in on a tab
If she means the browser remembering the zoom levels on different pages, this can be done IIRC by disabling resist fingerprinting in about:config and then installing the canvas blocker addon which is not as good as RFP, but for me at least has been a good compromise privacy-wise.Out of date info! Have a look at this instead: https://github.com/arkenfox/user.js/issues/1775

GrapheneOS [Unofficial]@lemmy.ml•GrapheneOS Foundation Response To French Media Inquiries(UPDATED: 11-20-2025)English
4·4 months agoI suggest the following response: 🖕va te faire foutre🖕

Actually, you can use Signal for this, if you have it on both your phone and laptop, and use “note to self.” I prefer this because it’s very straightforward and isn’t bogged down with a lot of extraneous extra features that other notetaking apps I’ve tried tend to have.
