In order to comply with the bylaw, they would need to hire someone on-call who could respond to emergencies within an hour, and who could check the carbon monoxide and smoke detectors after every stay.
Wow, you mean you need to have someone who can actually respond to issues, particularly in a time-sensitive manner? Imagine that.
Hotels/Motels have extra fees they need to pay to the municipality, why should short term rentals be any different?
They wanted money for nothing and lose their shit when they have to do the littlest bit of work. Fuckem
Probably the wrong community. Should likely go on !Canada.
Maybe you don’t need two cottages in Calabogie that you rent out if you’re not going to treat it as a real business.
I would love a cottage there, I have zero cottages. This guy has two in one area.
Fuck him.
Hi unfortunately this was posted to the incorrect community.
Like Avid Amoeba stated, please consider reposting over there !Canada.
Locking post.
Short term rental investors are low hanging fruit.
They are breaking the law so they should be selling for a loss.
Fuck 'em, let working people buy them properties at a discount
Good! Fuck land leeches.
