Seems to me that Canadians should start a social media campaign taking pictures of overcrowded transit and highways and use the hashtags the leaders try to use.
Doesn’t matter where in the world it is, return to office for people who don’t physically handle their work is a contributor to climate change, housing shortages, and a drag on productivity. Which is to say, a policy created by an idiot to satisfy real estate investors and car manufacturers.
Can the union organize sit ins in the leaders’ offices?
Include pictures of road accidents and news stories about fatalities from road accidents.
So that’s a no. If they had the space they’d say it. By obfuscating they imply they don’t have sufficient space.
It’ll be a great way to funnel money to allies when the public service needs to rent work space. Same as with the feds.
I don’t see any mention of why there might not be enough space. Ford doesn’t seem like the type to have had the government do a lot of hiring; has the provincial government let go of some office space since WFH started?
My understanding is that much like the federal government they got rid of a lot of office space. Either sold it or renting it out to other businesses or something.
