Unfortunately he is pretty young so if the cons keep him around long enough he will get his turn when the electorate tires of the liberals and the left vote splits.
Yup. All we got was PP, or the Conservative party at least, getting a win after becoming even more extreme and Carney, someone who has absolutely proven that he does not care about the working class, as the leader of the country.
Insane that we always tell ourselves that it’s the left that needs to give up their beliefs to bolster the center and never the the center that needs to grow a spine and support the left.
I voted NDP, and I’m going to keep doing it. The Liberals do not represent me in the slightest and will not get the benefit of my voice.
I know this is not what people like you want to hear but that was never going to happen. Ontario literally voted down changes to that in a referendum not too long before 2015.
If you want to see actual electoral reform it’s better to start at the bottom so the electorate is forced to interact with it. Municipal elections are easier to influence and don’t have so many competing parties that benefit from different systems. We were poised to do this in Ontario but Doug has rolled that back for obvious reasons.

I voted liberal in 2015 to change our voting system. That didn’t pan out.
