It’s so MAOver
i learned recently that the actualy george lucas modeled the ewoks after the vietcong and that’s all you need to say to about lucas’ political beliefs.
I’m not sure if he meant it in a racist way or by portraying them as guerilla fighters fighting the a technologically advanced destructive empire.
He honored them; there a look to the interview where he says so elsewhere in this post
Did they have to live on tree huts and eat human flesh, George?
some of the vietcong (and civilians) were forced to live underground and eat bugs to survive american bombing/napalming; maybe tree huts and human meat it’s symbolic somehow.
most likely a little bit of column A, a little bit of column B
Didn’t George Lucas say that the original trilogy is an analogy for the Vietnam War, and the Rebel Alliance are the Vietcong?
but why was there suffering?
