Maybe not but if can certainly be one of the reasons. It sure as shit was the reason why my last car wasn’t a Tesla. But yeah like I said, it’s just because they wanted it.
The issue with chlorinated chicken isn’t about the chlorine itself, it’s because it’s a process used to counter unsafe/dirty farming conditions, and can make it harder to detect the bacteria and salmonella in the end product.
The “decal” is probably magnetic so they can just remove it, they bought the truck because they wanted it for personal use/agenda reasons and don’t want to commit to real decals they can’t easily remove when not on a job.
Yeah I can definitely fit all that twice over in my little Peugeot 208, probably more. And it’s electric too! And cost maybe 1/10th the price!
Oh I think I remember doing something like this as a kid, you start with a special black paint that creates thick lines right? Then you just fill in the colours.
That is a wild ride, that felt all too familiar. I do not miss getting myself into these kinds of hijinks.
Yeah if you travelled “all the way to Europe for pizza” and selected Amsterdam as your destination you’re just a fool haha.
The only reason I opened the article was to find out what FSR meant. They never actually spell it out, you can understand it’s AI upscaling from the context but I guess they just assume you know the acronym…
That’s the worst kind of “techno” though…
Not really, the system itself is clever but it’s made for everyone, very simple to use.
Why would you run them over when you can just drive away… I’m very worried about my American friends when I see the violent ambience present there that the first thought when threatened isn’t “how do I get out of this situation” but “how do I kill this person”.
Of course, all of these variations will still be different/inverted in french, which is already in the Union Européenne (UE) today.
Don’t get me wrong I’m all for it but by this logic we can also include South America (French Guyana), central America (Caribbeans) all Pacific Islands (French Polynesia), Africa (too many to list), Indian subcontinent (la reunion) and Oceania (nouvelle Caledonie).
I look forward to Hawaii joining the EU :D
Any reasons why these two neighborhoods go against the grain? Are they the posh suburbs?
Maybe canada can be the first member of a post-European EU. I guess we’ll need a new name.
I need to know what goes on in Scott’s life that it happens to him three times a month.
Mine isn’t as fancy as the Audi (just turns them off when it detects a vehicle ahead or when there’s enough ambient street light). The fact it’s off when there’s street lights invites me to think it would always be off when crossing a bike (as bikes would tend to mostly be in areas with street lights).
It does work with motorbikes for sure, I don’t think I was in the “bike in dark area” scenario yet, but here bikes are obligated to have lights on them so I’m pretty sure it would detect it just the same as a motorbike. Same with pedestrians if they’re wearing high-viz (which they should in dark areas, if not a dark area, they’re off anyway).
I’ve deleted memrise and am strictly learning German through these memes, I’m confident I’ll be fluent by the end of the year.
