I’ve been to multiple universities and colleges along with family members, even programs that require a workstation pc do not provide them for you. Im working on updating one right now and at a “better” uni you have to apply for a fund through your student association. Best you normally get is rentable laptops from the library.

Nobody is a terrorist for killing Nazis. Charlie Kirk did this for thirteen years and even though he contributed to an incalculable amount of death, he was only stopped by a bullet.
Similarly, it’s important to remember that despite millions of people pleading with JK, she is still single-handedly responsible for anti-trans and sexist laws in the UK. There are people who will die because she hasn’t been stopped. JK’s words are from a person who can and has contributed to genocide without ever getting their hands dirty. His last two statements were transhpbobic and racist. “Gang violence” means racialized violence, it’s imagined as a form of violence exclusive to undesirable non-white groups.
PP deserves to feel scared for the very same reason. Bolt-action rifles are legal in Canada and he’s made is career about targeting vulnerable groups and pandering to chuds. Now he knows that the chuds could just kill him because of memes and everyone loved seeing that Nazi eat it.
Charlie was killed by a bolt-action rifle, them’s still legal in Canada. Neolibs have been eroding every legal means of challenge to the state, a strategy that predictably has short-term payoffs at the cost of violence as the last remaining option for those who the state targets. Imagine all of the people who were killed by Doug Ford’s axing of medical care alone, it would only take one family member who realizes he won’t stop for it to happen to him. PP has decided that fascist rhetoric imported from the states was the most effective avenue to expansion of the interests of capital, and seems to have just now realized that he wasn’t prepared to play that game.
I wonder if PP will be visiting any Uni campuses anytime soon…
Why don’t you blame the companies? If they had paid you a fair wage this whole time, you’d be better off. If profit maximization wasn’t their imperative, they wouldn’t make decisions by quarterly disruptions.
Why not blame the Liberals? They have resisted expansion of social welfare policies like UBI which would allow you more leverage in negotiating with these companies in the first place and would have lessened the blow of losing that job now. They’ve ran on election reform multiple times and abandoned it.
Trump is the sole culprit? Why hasn’t anyone in his cabinet stopped him then? Why hasn’t Congress or the Senate or Supreme Court stopped him?
It’s time Canadians recognize that systemic change is necessary. Even if individuals could be solely responsible for this, we shouldn’t live in a system where that is possible. Maybe Canada should have never been subject to the whims of one man in the metropole and maybe YOU should never be materially insecure in one of the wealthiest states on the planet.

As expected. The state has benefited greatly from this nationalist burst and the absence of First Nations and indigenous voices in this discourse is intentional. They know white Canadians feel scared and will more openly support colonial interests.
I think this is a very good example of why we cannot depend on reform. This system will never work in our interests because it is not designed to. NDP might help a bit in terms of social welfare programs that can enable more time to people who want to participate in mutual aid, but the amount of effort it’d take to get them a federal majority would be enormous and would not resolve the issue of MP and Senator capital interests.
Has anyone else noticed an uptick in Wolfenstein content in the past year? I wonder if anything happened that encouraged a bunch of people to revisit a franchise about killing Nazis.
